Freshman Harrier Weston Greenelsh cleared the course at Fresno's Woodward Park in just 20:38.1 to claim the 2024 CCCAA State Title. Greenelsh paced the pack by almost a full ten seconds to become the Cougars' first State Champion since Sean McDermott in 2016. A product of San Luis Obispo High, he built his way towards the title, after previously earning first team honors at both the conference and regional finals with 5th and 3rd place finishes, respectively. Greenelsh was the Cougars' top finisher in all eight of his starts this year and landed among the Top 10 finishers in each of them.
Men's Cross Country finished 13th in the Western State Conference and 27th at the CCCAA Regional Meet.
