Cuesta Cager Olivia Missler Named to the CCCAA State Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll

Cuesta College's 2023 Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Olivia Missler has been selected to the 2022-23 California Community College Athletic Association's Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

Olivia Missler was an exemplary student-athlete over her two years at Cuesta and, as the recipient of the Cuesta's Warren Hansen Scholar-Athlete of the Year, she reached the highest achievement in both academics and athletics.

Olivia was the indispensable player for Cuesta's Women's Basketball team for two seasons and matched her excellence on the court to a superior performance in the classroom.  She was selected as both Cuesta Women's Basketball's 2023 Player of the Year and Cuesta Athletics' top female scholar-athlete.  Missler joined the Cougars as part of Coach Casey Blair's first recruiting class and earned all-Western State Conference First Team honors on the hardwood after each of her two seasons, while also earning repeat selections to all-WSC Academic Team in the classroom.  In her sophomore season, Missler led the Cougars with 11.6 points per game and became the 25th player in program history to eclipse 500 career points.  She completed her academic career with a straight A's in the classroom, while Majoring in Psychology with a perfect 4.0 in 62.5 units

Olivia decided to stay close to home and attend California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo
