Cuesta College Athletics Department is proud to announce this month's selections for the Cuesta Athlete of the Month.  This distinct honor recognizes two Cuesta College Athletes each month during the school year who have performed to the highest standards in their sport.  Our female selection for January is Point Guard Bella Musolff

Sophomore Bella Musolff has developed into one of the top point guards in the State.  She is, not only, an elite distributor and a tenacious defender, but has become a legitimate scoring threat.  After averaging less than ten points per game as a freshman and into the first month of this season, Musolff averaged 12 points per game in January, while still leading the team in assists.  She enjoyed one of her best games of the month in a loss against the Cougars' longtime nemesis Ventura, when she filled up the box score with 13 points, four rebounds, six assists and a steal

The Cougars were 12-9 and starting their second round of Western State Conference play
