Cuesta Wrestling finished 15th at the 2019 CCCAA State Wrestling Championship and added a pair of place winners.  On the season, Cuesta posted 2-4 overall record and finished in 4th place in the SouthEast Conference.  Sophomore Juan Camacho's 3rd place finish at State earned him an All American (Top 4) nod. He also placed 2nd at the Southern Regional Meet and was also named to the 2019 All-SouthEast Conference Second Team. Camacho tied for the team lead with 22 wins on the season; 22-9 overall.  Freshman Breck Jeffus also finished 2nd at the Southern Regional Meet, before taking 5th place at the 2019 CCCAA State Wrestling Championship.  Jeffus tied Camacho for the team lead in wins and was 22-7 on the season.  Freshman Jacob Yamaguchi did not qualify for the 2019 CCCAA State Meet, but he was accorded 2019 All-SEC Honorable Mention. Yamaguchi was 14-10 on the season.
