Wrestling spent last weekend in Bakersfield at the 2023 SouthEast Conference Tournament.  The Cougars brought seven grapplers to the event and boasted four place winners despite an overall record of 4-12.  Freshmen Christian Davidsonand Andres Cervantes, at 197 and 125, both took 2nd place, while Ryan Cramer, at 149, and Heavyweight Sherman Barney took 4th and 5th places, respectively.  

The Cougars shall take the next two weeks off and return to action with the 2023 CCCAA Regional Meet on December 2 at Palomar College in San Marcos.  Cuesta is also hosting the 2023 CCCAA State Championships on December 8-9
