Payton joined the Cuesta Coaching Staff directly after the pandemic and has helped Coach Kaleb Lique Naitove rebuild the program after its pandemic hiatus. Before moving to California, she grew up in Great Falls, Montana and played collegiately at nearby Carroll College in Helena. Payton played four seasons for the St. Bernards and started 29 of her 67 career games. She also added 29 career points off 11 goals and seven assists. She began her career listed as a Defender, but was named to the all-CCC First Team after posting 17 points as a Forward. Payton graduated in 2019 with a degree in Business.
Payton resides in Atascadero with her Partner Jack Marmon.
