Kreowski Does It All For Women's Swimming- NorCal Invite this Week

All American Anna Kreowski was the only member of the women's swimming team to compete in last week's Western State Conference Mini Meet in Van Nuys.  She competed in four events and her 37-point total landed the Cougars in 10th place at the event.  Kreowski, who earned All American honors for both water polo in the fall and swimming last spring, reached the championship finals in two events with 5th place in the 200-freestyle (2:10.71) and 7th place in the 500-free (5:57.80).  She also took 10th in the 100-free (1:00.06) and 13th in the 50-free (:28.24).

This week the Aqua-Cats travel to Santa Rosa for their first big championship meet of the season.  The Cougars previously had their trip to the Mt San Antonio Invitational and their home Arena Invitational cancelled due to inclement weather, so this season the Cougars have only been able to compete in smaller conference meets.  This weekend marks the first time the Cougars will be able to measure themselves against other teams in the State.  Last year, both Cuesta's men's and women's teams took 3rd place at the 2022 CCCAA State Championship
