2019 State Qualifier Abby Richey was the only Cuesta Track & Field Athlete in action last week as she competed at the Cerritos Multi-Event Meet on Friday and Saturday. Richey finished 4th in the event with a score of 3,617 points, which is only 86 points off her current career mark. Her best performance of the meet was in the 200-meters, where she set a personal-best :27.00 and moved her up to 6th place all time on Cuesta's All Time Top 10. Richey's Richey finished 11th in the Heptathlon at the 2019 CCCAA State Championships and her career-best mark of 3,703 points is 4th all time at Cuesta.
