Spikers Face Glendale in WSC North-South Crossover

Women's Volleyball finished in 5th place in the Western State Conference North Division and is scheduled play at Glendale, the Cougars' opposite number in the WSC-South, this Tuesday (6 PM).  The host Vaqueros, who finished 5th in the WSC-South, and this Tuesday's game is not only for divisional pride, but to create a composite playoff ranking of all the WSC teams for playoff seeding.  The Cougars last reached the post-season in 2021, after placing 4th in the WSC-North and beating Citrus in the WSC Divisional game.  Cuesta also beat the Owls in last year's 5th place game but did not earn a playoff seed.  The Cougars are currently 13-14 on the season, despite their 2-8 record against the WSC-North

The Cougars finished WSC-North Division play with a three-set loss to WSC Tri-Champion Santa Barbara, however the WSC-North is projected to have three teams among the Top 10 playoff seeds.  The overall power of the division offers the Cougars a slim opportunity to push for a playoff berth based on their 11-6 non-conference record.
