Freshman Outside Hitter Cayley Brown has stepped into a prominent role for the Cuesta Women's Volleyball this season as team's #2 kill leader and now, the program's new all-time service ace leader.  Cayley landed nine services aces in her past three matches to surpass her current teammate Hannah Colletti's school record of 54, which was set just last year.  The Cougars' serving mark has been broken three times in the past four seasons, beginning in 2021 with Christelle Mouret and her 51 unreturnable landings.  Mouret's mark broke the previous standard of 45 set by current Cuesta Coach Whitney Meyer, which had stood since 2014.  Brown's record currently stands at 61 aces; however, the Spikers still have eight matches left in the regular season and hopes for a playoff berth.
