The Cuesta Women Poloists return to action this weekend as they make their second straight trip to the North.  The Cougars play in the Bockman Invitational this Friday and Saturday at Cabrillo College in Aptos.  The Cougars open with a re-match against Modesto on Friday (11 AM) and then play the host Seahawks (1 PM).  On Saturday, they complete bracket play against Las Positas (11 PM) and then their final game's opponent shall be determined by their previous tournament record.   

Last weekend, Cuesta Women's Water Polo jumped off the bus for the 2023 West Valley Tournament and met host and 2022 State Runner-up West Valley.  The Vikings greeted the Cougars with a 15-4 loss, but Cuesta bounced back to sweep the rest of their opponents.  They beat Marin, 10-8, to end the first day and returned on Saturday to beat both Modesto, 8-7 in sudden death overtime, and Merced, 6-2.  The Cougars three-game winning streak is marking the program's best run since 2019.  The Cougars are 5-4 on the season.
