Cuesta Trio Attack the Field in Oxnard

Cuesta Women's Cross Country is fielding a three-woman pack this year, but the small and mighty Cougars look prepared to do some damage, despite their inability to score as a team.  In last week's OC Cross Country Invitational, 2022 CCCAA State Qualifier Dulce Esquivel and Newcomer Paige Medrano were the first two Cuesta harriers across the line, 12th (20:59.2) and 16th (21:15.4), while fellow State Qualifier Adrienne Frere landed in 30th (23:06.9) to anchor the Cuesta contingent.  The Cuesta trio did not score as a team, however, in the nine-team field only Mt San Antonio, the 2021 CCCAA State Runner-up, and Glendale, the 2021 CCCAA 6th place team, had their lead trio across the line before the Cougars.

The Harriers have scheduled this week off to asses and train in preparation for the 2022 SoCal Preview on September 23.
