The 2022 SoCal Regional Preview Meet featured harriers from 29 different institutions, including, curiously, two schools from the Northern California Region.  Only half of those teams featured a complete scoring team, so the Cougars' trio was in good company amongst a field of 138 runners.  2021 All-Region Harrier Dulce Esquivel (L) and Freshman Paige Medrano (R) both finished in the Top 30, while 2021 CCCAA State Qualifier Adrienne Frere (C) cleared the Top 100 in 97th (24:40.2).  Esquivel finished 25th (20:27.3) and Medrano crossed 13 seconds later in 29th (20:40.1).  

The Cougars travel to the Western State Conference Preview Meet this Friday at Pierce College in Woodland Hills. The women's race beings at 1 PM and the men hit the course at 2 PM.
