2021 State Qualifier Dulce Esquivel (pict) and Freshman Paige Medrano were the Cougars' only representatives at the 2022 Bautista Invitational in San Diego.  The duo battled 125 harriers around the Liberty Station Course, and both finished in the Top 30.  Esquivel completed the course in just 19:53.5 and landed in 11th place, while Medrano battled her way through a pack of six runners all within three seconds of her to finish 30th (20:57.9).

The women do not have enough runners for a scoring team this season, which means Esquivel, Medrano and 2021 CCCAA State Qualifier Adrienne Frere can only reach the CCCAA's Regional and State Meets based on their individual performances.
