Cuesta Women's Cross-Country team will send only two harriers to the 2023 Western State Conference Championships this Friday at Los Angeles Pierce in Woodland Hills, but they are both title contenders.  2022 CCCAA State Track & Field Qualifier Elle Casselman (pict) and Freshman Summer Gelman have run as duo this season and neither has finished outside of the Top 20 in any of their five starts.  This weekend, and over the post-season, the Cougars will not score as a team, but this weekend both harriers are positioned to both qualify for the post-season and pick-up some all-conference accolades.  The Cougars have had a harrier reach the CCCAA State Meet in 18 of the past 21 seasons.
