Casselman and Gelman Race Onto the All-WSC First Team and Qualify for Regionals

Harriers Elle Casselman and Summer Gelman (pict) both earned a spot on the 2023 All Western State Conference First Team, despite being the only two entrants from Cuesta College.  They also became the fifth duo of teammates to make the elite squad since the turn of the century.  Casselman, as she has all season, led the way in 6th place (19:20.6), while Gelman was just four spots back at 19:35.3, which easily made the cut for the 15-woman squad.  Casselman and Gelman also cruised into the 2023 Southern California Regional Championships and are favored keep on running until the CCCAA State Meet the week before Thanksgiving.  

Cuesta's Harriers take this week off and head to El Dorado Park in Long Beach for the 2023 Southern California Regional Championships on November 3rd (10 AM)
