Cuesta Harriers Elle Casselman (pict-R) and Summer Gelman (pict-L) both finished in the Top 40 at the CCCAA Southern Regional to qualify as individuals at the 2023 CCCAA State Championships.  The State Meet shall be held at Woodward Park in Fresno on November 18.  Casselman and Gelman have been a two-woman team all year and have challenged for the top spot in all seven of their races this year.  Last week, Casselman, who has been the Cougars top finisher in each race, finished 24th, despite posting a season-best time of 19:16.1.  Gelman finished 10 spots behind her teammate, but also posted her fastest time of the year at 19:27.6.  

The 2023 CCCAA State Championships will be held at Woodward Park in Fresno on Saturday, September 18.
